Finance Manager APAC

The Position

Our client is a large multinational company in the Oil & Gas sector, with its regional HQ based in Singapore. Reporting to the overseas HQ, the Finance Manager APAC will lead the regional finance team and hold responsibility for the financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, ensuring compliance with SFRS/IFRS and other statutory requirements. You will work closely with the senior management team, driving business growth through insightful financial analysis, strategic planning and evaluation of potential new initiatives. You will also work together with external stakeholders such as auditors, bankers, lawyers and government bodies as well as playing a key role in upcoming business projects, working alongside various stakeholders within the business.

Skills & Experience Required

You will hold a bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting and ACCA/CPA/CA qualification, plus at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in finance, gained within fast-paced multinational company environments. You will have strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/SFRS) and some experience with Corporate Tax. Experience in Project Management and leading Finance Transformation initiatives will be advantageous. Project accounting experience is also a plus.
