Financial Controller (MNC)
The Position
Our client is a well-established multinational company with a rich heritage and a leadership position in their field. The Financial Controller will report directly to the CFO, performing a pivotal role that will involve regional strategy, financial planning and business partnering at the highest level. The expectation of the role is demanding and you will need to be able to prioritise, using good judgement and commercial awareness, impacting other functions on company objectives. Key responsibilities will include:
You will be a Chartered Accountant with an impressive career to date – a mixture of audit firm and multinational company experience or a Graduate Management Trainee of a blue- chip organisation. Your experience will feature a blend of FP&A, Controlling and Business Partnering activities. You you will need to be tech-savvy – a skilled user of SAP, BW and tools such as Power BI. Proficiency in financial modelling is also required. In addition, you will have a strong character with sound business acumen, able to challenge top management on assumptions, insights and decision-making. A natural problem-solver with sound professional judgement and strong analytical skills.

Salary: $13,000.00 – $15,000.00 per month

- Identifying strategic company imperatives and assisting the CEO in setting the forward direction of the business
- Partner with and challenge the executive leadership team on major strategy, business and finance matters, building strong professional relationships at the top level
- Lead controlling activities, dashboard design, driving accurate reporting and forecasting of P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow to ensure alignment with strategy, cycle plans and company projects
- Leading key annual cycles, department initiatives, OPEX, investment in headcount and sales commission structures
- Ensuring prompt financial and management reporting, driving operational excellence whilst managing and developing the finance team to support you
- Accounting consolidations and management of internal audit programs on financial processes
- Liaisons with external auditors and tax authorities for reporting and tax compliance; preparation of tax documents and working alongside legal teams on local corporate secretariat and other regulatory matters
