General Manager International – Financial Services

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is focused on developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy to drive international revenue. The successful candidate will be accountable for identifying priority markets, establishing a roadmap for sustainable growth, and overseeing market entry initiatives such as partnerships, representative offices and join ventures. A critical part of the role involves forging and managing strategic alliances with financial institutions, global universities, and government agencies, while also building high-performing leadership teams in overseas markets. Ultimately, this position is tasked with delivering on international revenue and profitability targets, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with local regulations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, dynamic, and results-oriented professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of growing business in the region. You should possess strong practical knowledge of the business environment, a demonstrated ability to secure high-value partnerships, and a history of driving revenue growth. You are a highly ambitious, solutions-oriented professional with exceptional negotiation skills, particularly with C-suite executives in the financial services sector. A degree is required, with a Master’s or other postgraduate qualification strongly preferred. You will have over 20 years of relevant experience, with a strong track record in client and people management, including a leadership position.
