Responsibilities

Reporting to senior management and sitting at the leadership table, the HR Director will take full ownership of a lean yet capable HR team. Beyond day-to-day operational oversight, the role carries genuine strategic weight – from designing performance frameworks that meaningfully shift culture, to structuring compensation creatively in a way that balances talent attraction with cost discipline. The HR Director will be a trusted thought partner to teaching and operational leadership alike, bringing both the analytical rigour and the interpersonal intelligence to navigate a multicultural environment with care.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced HR generalist comfortable leading within internationally diverse, foreign-national-heavy workforces — whether from hospitality, healthcare, engineering, or retail, what matters is that you know MOM compliance and compensation structuring from the inside out. You are equally at ease designing a performance framework as sitting with a department head through a sensitive people matter. Those around you would describe you as sharp, personable, and high in emotional intelligence – warm in style, clear in expectations, and consistent in follow-through.
